AUBURN — The L/A Community Little Theatre will join thousands of theatrical organizations around the world with their production of “All Together Now! A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre” the weekend of Nov. 12.
Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International created the revue for theatres to use as a local fundraising event, all performed over the same weekend.
The songs in the production are from hit Broadway musicals such as “Annie,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Godspell,” “Guys and Dolls,” “High School Musical,” “Into The Woods,” “Little Shop Of Horrors,” “Mamma Mia,” “My Fair Lady,” “Oliver” and “Rent.”
Lynn O’Donnell is directing the show. assisted by music director Paul G. Caron, stage manager Brandon Chaloux and producer Dan Kane. Other crew members include Sarah Wing (assistant stage manager), Charlotte Morin and Sue Caron (costumes), Sara Caron (props), Sue Finch (light design) and Matthew Conklin (light operator).
Performances are 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12 and Saturday, Nov. 13, and 2 p.m. Saturday Nov. 13 and Sunday Nov. 14 at the theater, 30 Academy St. Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors, $12 for students and can be bought at laclt.com, by phone at 207-783-0958 or at the door.
“All Together Now!” is about bringing people back to the theatre, whether as audience members or cast, crew and musicians, said MTI President and CEO Drew Cohen. “The revue features songs from the world’s most iconic musicals, so there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy. Our goal with this worldwide event is for organizations to provide hope, inspiration and excitement to their communities through the transformative power of musical theater.”
