TAMPA — Mark Hite, of Leeds, graduated from The University of Tampa on May 6. Hite graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in sport management.
Hite is a 2013 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and is the son of Larry and Deborah Hite. At UT, Hite was named Male Intramural Sports Athlete of the Year.
The commencement ceremonies included 1,497 undergraduate and graduate candidates. The commencement speakers were William B. Rutherford ’86, chief financial officer and executive vice president at HCA Holdings Inc. and Aileen Black ’83, executive director, industry lead and group leader U.S. government at Google.
