Leavitt golfers upend Medomak in playoffs

TURNER — The team from Leavitt Area High School beat Medomak Valley, of Waldoboro, in the second round of the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference golf playoffs on Sept. 23 at Turner Highlands Golf Course.
Leavitt won, 9-0. Ruby Haylock, of Leavitt, was medalist, with a 38.
Leavitt had an overall score of 157, Medomak 224.
