Winthrop Historical Society antiques appraisal event is Oct. 1

WINTHROP – The Winthrop Maine Historical Society will host an antiques appraisal day from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, at Van Der Brew tasting room and deck, 30 Summer St.
Appraiser Kaja Veilleux, of Thomaston Place Auction Galleries, will offer verbal assessments of your attic treasures. A $20 donation allows a from one to three items for appraisal.
Multiple groups of items are allowed and encouraged.
All proceeds benefit the Winthrop History and Heritage Center, 107 Main St.
