The cemetery is opposite the Baptist Church on Rayville Road. Notable Otisfield residents buried there include astronomer and professor Joseph Holden, born in 1816, whose inscription notes that he “discovered that the earth is flat and stationary and that the sun and moon do move,” as well as other town residents, some who fought in the Revolution, Civil War or taught in one-room schoolhouses.
Each tour lasts about an hour. An admission fee of $10 benefits the Otisfield Historical Society.
