BRIDGTON – Dr. Bruce Lastra has joined the staff at Bridgton Obstetrics-Gynecology, 15 Hospital Drive.
Lastra attended the University of Vermon and earned a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford.
He completed his residency at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital/St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, Michigan. Lastra is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
“My particular philosophy is to treat the whole patient and not the numbers,” said Lastra in a news release from Central Maine Healthcare. “I find the best way to connect with patients is to sit down and discuss their problems directly. As a result, I tend to ask open ended questions.”
Lastra practices in collaboration with Mahnee Dinsmore, M.D.
Bridgton Obstetrics-Gynecology is part of Central Maine Healthcare, which includes Bridgton and Rumford hospitals and Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
