The late Robert Crockett honored for his service to country, state, city

AUGUSTA — A legislative sentiment was presented to the Robert Crockett family in appreciation of Crockett’s many years of service to his country in the Air Force, to the state as sergeant of arms of the Maine State Senate, to his city as a 14-year member of the Augusta City Council and to his dedication to the youth of the area. Crockett, of Augusta, died in March.

The sentiment was presented by Rep. Matthew Pouliot, R-Augusta; Sen. Roger Katz, R-Kennebec; Rep. Richard Bradstreet, R-Vassalboro; and Rep. Donna Doore, D-Augusta.
