NORWAY — Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, and other characters are guarding Norway Memorial Library’s glass case, in a new display that will continue through September.
The artist is Brandon Higgins, 33, of Woodstock, works for New Balance and says that he has loved to draw for a long time.
“I first started drawing when I was younger typically just for fun,” Higgins said. “It grew into a passion for cartooning and a love for graphic novels. Now I illustrate semi-professionally but it is mostly a hobby of love. For me, it is a way to express myself and to bring my thoughts to life. I hope you enjoy my work.”
August was American Artist Appreciation Month and Sept. 25 is National Comic Book Day.
