The Table has a lot on its September menu

NORWAY — The Table’s free clothing giveaway, Saturday breakfast at the Norway Grange, recovery groups and kayaking continue in September.
The Table, at 160 Main St., offers free clothing from 1 to 5 p.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to noon the last Saturday of the month. Staff is on hand to
The clothing giveaway is in great need of children’s lightly used or new clothing and shoes. Money to buy new socks and underwear are also appreciated. help customers find specific clothing to aid in efficient flow through the building.
The Table is seeking an alternate free space to house its clothing ministry. Any person or business with an empty building who is looking to give back to the community should contact The Table.
The Table’s Healthy Outdoor Group’s kayak program will continue through the month. The group is open to all and it’s free to participate. There are limited extra kayaks available and should be reserved ahead of time. Life Jackets required to participate.
Mid-week kayaking will be decided during the weekend paddle and posted on Facebook. Changes in the schedule will be posted on Facebook.
The tentative September weekend schedule is:
Sunday, Sept. 5, 1 p.m.,Moose Pond, Bridgton. Off U.S. Route 302, Right side going toward Fryeburg.
Sunday, Sept. 12, Worthley Pond, Sumner. Meet at noon at Mallard Mart in West Paris to follow for directions.
Saturday, Sept. 18, 1 p.m., Keewaydin Stoneham. Meet at noon at Melby’s in Waterford to follow for directions.
Sunday, Sept. 26, 1 p.m. Concord Pond, Sumner. Meet at noon at Mallard Mart in West Paris to follow for directions.
The group accepts donations of kayaks or money toward purchase of kayaks.
The Table continues to offer free drive-by breakfasts at 9 a.m. the second, third and fourth Saturdays of the month at the Norway Grange, 15 Whitman St. The Table welcomes teams who would like to take a Saturday and serve breakfast.
The Table also offers space for area recovery groups.
The Table is an organization comprising Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church, the Norway Grange and community members. Its mission is to meet the needs of the community by offering healthy and safe programs for residents.
