Androscoggin County Fish and Game Association, of Auburn, held ACFGA Youth Day on Aug. 15, a free event sponsored by Gun Owners of Maine and ACFGA volunteers. The event was designed to give kids, ages 10 to 17 a safe, supportive and structured introduction to firearms safety on air guns and .22 rifles, as well as archery.
