AUBURN — The First Universalist Church of Auburn will present “Opening Doors, Opening Hearts,” a holiday pageant at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, as children from the religious exploration program follow the journeys of refugees throughout history.

Will they find welcome or walls?
The pageant includes famous refugees such as Joseph and Mary, the Wise Men, the Dalai Lama, Anne Frank, the Von Trapp family and poet Warsan Shire. The storyline, written by Maine author Cynthia Grimm, reflects some aspects of the current political atmosphere in our country.
All ages are welcome. The First Universalist Church of Auburn is at 169 Pleasant St. (across from Dairy Joy). Parking; accessible. For more information call 783-0461 or visit www.auburnuu.org.
