RANGELEY – The town’s Haley Pond Park gazebo was transformed into a jazz club Aug. 9, as the Rangeley Friends of the Arts Outdoor Concert Series continued with a performance by jazz vocalist Sami Stevens, accompanied by saxophonist Kazemde George.
Stevens and George combine jazz, experimental and classic rhythm and blues to forge a truly unique sound in original music.
The final concerts in the series are Jazz Time 99 at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16., and the Sandy River Ramblers, 7 p.m., Monday, Aug. 23. The concerts are free and open to the public. For information and updates, visit. RFA.org.
