Historian Taylor to speak in Fort Western Series Aug. 6

AUGUSTA – Historian and author Alan Taylor will be the latest speaker in the Fort Western Bicentennial Series, at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at Central Church, 20 Mission Ave.

Taylor will speak on “Freedom, slavery and Maine statehood in 1820.” Suggested admission price is $10.
