Historic Minot church open for services on August Sundays

MINOT — The Minot Historical Society will open the 1846 Minot Center Congregational Church for the annual summer services at 9 a.m. Sunday Aug. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.
The church is on Center Minot Hill Road, where it intersects with Jackson Hill Road. The inside of the building is as it was the year it was built. All denominations are invited to attend and enjoy this old historic building.
Pastor Frances Lodge will conduct services. On Aug. 1, the musician will be Marjorie Muise with soloist Flo Annear.
The musician for the following Sundays will be Dan Burgess, with soloists Darlene Morrill on Aug. 8, Wayne Bridgham on Aug. 15, Denise Foss on Aug. 22 and Richard Creighton on Aug. 29.
