LEWISTON – There’s still time to participate in the Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice Dream Team’s annual Fairy Dish Garden fundraiser, at which families can help create one or more fairy gardens.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 10 at the American Legion in Auburn. All proceeds will benefit patient care and support at Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice’s Hospice House.
Fairy dish gardens are created in a potted dish and feature a miniature landscape and figurines. Families who attend can work together on one garden or create several of them. The cost of $25 per garden includes instructions, all needed supplies and snacks.

The Dream Team holds several events annually to benefit AHCH patients. The group is comprised of family, friends, staff, volunteers and other supporters of the Hospice House.
All money raised throughout the year is donated at the annual Hospice House 5K and Remembrance Walk in Auburn, which takes place on May 21 this year. For more details on that event, go to www.hhrunwalk.com.
