HIRAM — Hiram Historical Society will host a trolley tour, Hidden Historical Houses of 1820, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1. Have you ever driven by a house and wondered how old it is, or who built ir or lived there? The trolley tour of the outsides of area historic homes can satisfy your curiosity.
The tour is part of the Maine bicentennial celebration, canceled last year. The narrated tour is of exteriors only and is expected to take 90 minutes. The trolley is air conditioned. Seats are limited to 35. Tickets are $25 or two for $20 for one and must be bought in advance.
