FRYEBURG — The Old Saco Inn is a peaceful, 65-acre retreat set on the banks of the Old Saco River; it is also the location of the fifth annual Mother’s Day Fundraiser for the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library, 227 Main St., Lovell.
Innkeepers Sandi and Pete MacLachlan have supported the library for the last five years with this unique fundraiser. While enjoying views of the White Mountains, one can treat your mom, grandmother, wife, sister, daughter or best friend to a delicious lunch.
This year’s menu includes corn chowder with warm bread rolls, glazed spiral sliced ham, roast chicken breasts, roast beef and seven salads. Dessert will be coffee ice cream profiteroles. The meal includes coffee and tea; a cash bar is also available.
There will be two seatings — noon and 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children (12 and under).
You can stop by the library to purchase tickets or call them at 207-925-3177 to reserve a spot.

There are only 40 tickets available per seating.
