PORTLAND — Spanish Mass is Masses in Spanish is now offered in seven Maine communities, including Lewiston and Waterville.
In addition, the Diocese of Portland’s Office of Hispanic Ministry will offer a special healing prayer service in Spanish at the Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul,, 122 Ash St., Lewiston at 6 p.m. Friday, May 28.
Lewiston Spanish Mass is 6 p.m. every Saturday at Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul. It’s also live-streamed at www.princeofpeace.me.
Waterville Spanish Mass is at 12:15 p.m. every Sunday at Notre Dame Church, 116 Silver St.
Funded largely by the annual Catholic Appeal, the Office of Hispanic Ministry assists the Hispanic community living and working in Maine by offering sacramental preparation, including marriage and baptismal preparation; faith formation for adults and children; education on social service support in the state; and help to individuals and families in becoming more involved in parish life.
