LIVERMEORE FALLS — Irving L. Dudley, 61, passed away Wednesday, April 26, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born June 10, 1955, in Augusta, the son of Lendall Dudley and Theresa (Fuller) Dudley, he attended schools in the Augusta area and receiving his GED in Livermore Falls. He married the love of his life, Betty Taylor, May 8, 1997 in Readfield.

For many years, he worked as a farmer and at car auctions in Wilton. In his youth, he was an amateur boxer. One of his greatest pleasures was bird watching. He loved spending time with his family and watching all sports. Irving loved going to the fairs and watching the horse pulling. His favorite holiday was Halloween, and he enjoyed all of the festivities and dressing in different costumes. He was greatly loved and will be missed forever.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Dudley, of Livermore Falls; five stepsons, Jerry Farrington and wife Donna of Fayette, Claude Farrington and wife Sue of Pennsylvania, Bruce Farrington and wife Tess of Bingham, Kevin Farrington and wife Liz of Stratton, and Darryl Farrington and wife Peggy of Peru; eight step-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild; a sister, Thelma Sirois of Augusta, and his beloved cat “Cuddles.” He was predeceased by his parents and two step grand-children.

At the request of the family there will be no funeral services; a celebration of life benefit supper will be held at the AMVET Hall, 111 Main Street Jay, Saturday, May 6 from 4-6:30 pm.
