NEW PORTLAND — Western Mountains Baptist Church is once again offering a $1,000 scholarship to a high school senior who resides in a town served by either Regional School Unit 74 or School Administrative District 58.
RSU 74, based in North Anson, includes Anson, North Anson, Embden, New Portland and Solon. SAD 58 includes Phillips, Avon, Kingfield and Strong.
Submit an application via the WMBC website www.westernmountainschurch.org [1] or mail it to Western Mountains Baptist Church, PO Box 264, Kingfield, ME 04947. Put “Attn: Scholarship” on the envelope.
The deadline to apply is May 15.
