Apr. 292017

LEWISTON — Museum L-A’s premier event — the Maine Innovation Expo — celebrating creativity, spirit, ingenuity and innovation in Maine is fast gearing up to be an exciting, fun and educational day for all ages. The Expo will take place Saturday, May 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 35 Canal St.. in the Bates Mill Complex.

Museum L-A invites businesses and individuals to contact them to find out how they can be involved in showcasing their innovative business, idea or leadership. This is also a chance to help encourage and guide youth toward future growth and possibilities of entrepreneurship and skilled jobs available here in Maine.

With support from a National Endowment for the Arts Our Town Grant, and in collaboration with L/A Arts, Maine College of Art, the Pratt Institute and the Lewiston Auburn Economic Growth Council, the event will include local and state-wide businesses along with talented students, who have created interactive exhibits and also will be showcasing innovative processes.

Join us as we partner with local and state-wide businesses and talented students creating interactive exhibits as they showcase their innovative processes. Space is limited but still available. This event is FREE to attend so don’t miss out on all the excitement! Tickets are free, but we pre-registration is required.

The Maine Innovation Expo will provide a platform connecting generations, inspiring our young to explore innovative careers that will strengthen our community — innovation, food and entertainment. For more information, call Andrea at Museum L-A at 207-333-3881 or email events@museumla.org.
