Central, Midcoast Maine students named to WPI dean’s list

WORCESTER, Mass. — Students from central and midcoast Maine have been named to the Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2020 semester.
The criteria for the WPI dean’s list differs from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average. Instead, WPI defines the dean’s list by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
Recognized for academic achievement are:
AUBURN: Serena Mower, a member of the class of 2024 majoring in Computer Science.
AUGUSTA: Rowan Labaugh, a member of the class of 2022 majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
BRUNSWICK: Seamus Flanagan, a member of the class of 2022 majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
FAIRFIELD: Braden Ballard, class of 2022, majoring in Civil Engineering; Brett Foster, class of 2022, majoring in Electrical & Computer Engineering.
GORHAM: Jonathan Scribner, a member of the class of 2022 majoring in Civil Engineering.
MECHANIC FALLS: Cole Ouellette, class of 2024, majoring in Computer Science.
MINOT: Mary Suckow, class of 2023, majoring in Management Engineering.
NAPLES: Joshua Fernandez, a member of the class of 2023 majoring in Robotics Engineering.
NEW GLOUCESTER: Evan Davis, class of 2022, majoring in Computer Science.
SABATTUS: Devon Poisson, a member of the class of 2022, majoring in Electrical & Computer Engineering.
SEBAGO: Lucien Wallace, class of 2023, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
