LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Art Walk, which took place online Jan. 29, is still available to view, as are previous art walks.
The virtual art “walk” includes visual arts, music, prose poetry and more, and can be accessed on www.laarts.org/artwalk.
Featured from are an a cappella performance by the Bates College Crosstones, poet Jason Grundstrom-Whitney reading from his 2019 collection “Bear, Coyote, Raven,” Lewiston felt fiber artist Hillary Dow, local writers reading 2020 Maine Literary Award finalists and more.
The webpage also includes the 2021 Art Walk Artists online gallery, displaying works by local artists and artisans. Visual artists and artisans can www.laarts.org/artwalk/”>register free if they want their work shared the webpage throughout the season, and 100 percent of art sale proceeds go to artists and makers.
