AUBURN — Catch the national “Pin-Ups on Tour,” a patriotic World War II-style burlesque and variety show Monday, May 15, beginning at 8 p.m. at American Legion Post 31, 426 Washington St. N.
The production aims to re-create the magic of 1940’s burlesque theater popular in America in the World War II era. The evening will feature dancing pin-ups, comedy, variety acts, lounge singers and a few surprises. Performers include Los Angeles- and Las Vegas-based comedians, singers and dancers.
The cost for this 21-and-older show is $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Reserved seating is available for $35. Purchase tickets online at auburnpinups.brownpapertickets.com. Veterans and active-duty service members are free; reserve tickets online. It’s the show producers’ way of saying “thank you for your service.”
Doors open at 7 p.m. The post will be open at 3 p.m. and food will be available for purchase between 5 and 7 p.m.
