MADISON – The “Maine-ly Outdoors” Ministry of Daystar Chapel will host a handgun safety course Saturday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 574 Lakewood Rd., Route 201.
This course satisfies the state’s requirement before applying for a concealed-weapons permit. There are places in Maine where one cannot carry without a permit, and there are certain protocols/laws regarding the constitutional carry law.
Food and beverages will be offered for a reasonable cost at the class as a fundraiser for future events and towards a Community Pavilion and playground project.
