Downtown Augusta is ready for the holidays, with plenty going on despite the pandemic. (Maureen Milliken photo)
The holidays will kick off in downtown Augusta Saturday, Nov. 28, with Small Business Saturday, and include many holiday traditions, with a little bit of a twist to keep people safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The tree lighting will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, and can be viewed online at ctv7. Click here to watch it.
Santa will stroll through the city from 12:15 to 2:50 p.m., both the east and west sides. To get the parade route, find out how to make an appointment to talk to him, in person or on the phone, click here.
There is also an elf photo hunt, as well as a scavenger hunt downtown, through Dec. 21, drive-in movies and more.
