BELGRADE The Belgrade Transfer Station is offering free document shredding to town residents any time the transfer center is open.
Residents are free to watch as their personal documents are shredded. The Transfer Station will then recycle the paper. The Transfer Station held a very successful one-time shredding opportunity in September, and 1,700 pounds of documents were shredded on that one day.
The Transfer Center is open from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday.
