Nurse practitioner Amelia Allen joins Franklin Memorial Hospital team

FARMINGTON — Amelia Allen, a family nurse practitioner who specializes in cardiology has joined Franklin Memorial Hospital, the hospital announced.

Allen, who is affiliated with Maine Medical Partners MaineHealth Cardiology, will provide patient care Monday through Thursday, according to a news release from the hospital.

Allen works jointly with cardiologists Lesley West, Heinrich Grube, David Frost and Laura Sullivan, caring for patients with heart conditions and performing exercise stress tests to monitor heart functioning. Allen earned a master’s degree in family nurse practitioner at St. Joseph’s College of Maine and a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Maine at Fort Kent.
Allen grew up in New Vineyard and resides in New Sharon with her husband, Ryan Hutchinson, and their four children.
