High End Sale, May 13, first of its kind at the P.A.C.C.

Apr. 202017

PHILLIPS – Excited describes how members of the P.A.C.C feel as they plan a High End Sale for Saturday, May 13, at the Phillips Area Community Center, the first sale of its kind at the Depot Street venue. Doors will open at 9 a.m. No early birds. The sale will run until 3 p.m.

Those interested in renting a table at this sale should contact Winona Davenport at 207-639-4296 and leave a message. The cost for renting an eight-foot table is $10 plus $2 to help defray the cost of advertising.

All items must be clean of dust and dirt. Glassware should sparkle and items should be pre-priced. No items for sale valued at less than $10 and no limit on the high end price. This is not a sale for electronics.

Anyone not wanting to rent a table, but with items to sell, may reserve space on the P.A.C.C. table but there is a three-item limit. If your item on the P.A.C.C. table is sold during this High End Sale, P.A.C.C. will keep 10 percent of the sale. Dealers are welcome.

Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be on sale throughout the day.

At the last P.A.C.C. meeting it was voted to contract with Efficiency Maine for new lighting throughout the building, main area, stage, kitchen and bathrooms. Proceeds from table rentals and a percentage from the P.A.C.C. sale table and food sales will help with the new lighting expense.

A drawing will be held at the end of the day among those who make a purchase. Names will be entered in the drawing for a five-foot lilac bush valued at $50.

Plan ahead and tell your friends to spread the word. Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 14, and Father’s Day is Sunday, June 18 – you might find the perfect gift at this High End Sale.

Any buyer not prepared, will find two ATM machines in town.
