Chronic Wasting Disease effect on Maine deer hunting topic of Oct. 16 program

AUGUSTA — There will be an online live presentation by Krysten Schuler and Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife deer biologist Nathan Bieber to discuss the status of Chronic Wasting Disease in North America.
The disciussion will cover the impact of Chronic Wasting Disease on deer populations and deer hunting, steps department is taking to prevent the introduction of the disease into Maine,and what hunters can do to help.
