Family nurse practitioner Rebecca Greenleaf joins Central Maine Family Medicine Residency

LEWISTON – Rebecca Greenleaf, F.N.P. has joined the Central Maine Family Medicine Residency, at 76 High St.

Greenleaf has been a practicing family nurse practitioner for six years, according to a news release from CMFMR. Before she joined the practice, she worked at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and the Maine Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency in Augusta.

“As a primary care provider, I serve as an educator, advocate and companion to help guide the patient toward optimal health,” said Greenleaf in a news release from CMFMR.

Greenleaf earned a bachelor of arts in biology from Connecticut College in New London, Conn., and a bachelor of science in nursing and master of science, family nurse practitioner at Columbia University School of Nursing in New York.

She completed clinical hours at Hoboken University Medical Center in Hoboken, N.J., and is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, according to the release.
