Augusta Scouts’ Walkabout for Packs includes ‘Leave No Trace’

Webelos (fourth and fifth-graders) of Cub Scout Pack 603, Kennebec Valley District, review the map for their three-mile hike under the watchful eye of Senior Patrol Leader Eric McDonnell on Aug. 15. Pack 603 hosted the Webelos Walkabout for Packs in the Augusta area at Viles Arboretum. Training included planning the hike, addressing safety, weather and terrain planning.
