Email nomination support needed in Fayette

FAYETTE — The town is seeking nominations from registered voters for individuals to serve on the Board of Selectmen and Fayette School Committee. Nominees will be on the local ballot to be decided at the special state and local election to be held Tuesday, July 14.
Incumbent selectman Joe Young and school committee member Matthew Charland are seeking re-election; former school committee chairman Richard Darling is seeking nomination as well. Two new candidates needing nomination support are Nathaniel Sparling and Brian Holman, both for board of selectmen. All candidates need at least 25 e-mails from registered voters between now and June 30, supporting their candidate. One may send emails to fayette@myfairpoint.net.
