RUMFORD — The River Valley Rotary Club has not sat quietly during the Covid-19 self-quarantine policies these past couple of months.
Most recently local Rotarian Sharon Gilsleider made around 60 cloth masks for the Rotary to distribute April 28 at the Rumford Library and the Muskie Building. The giveaway started at approximately 8:45 a.m., and all masks were gone by 9:15 a.m.
The club wants to remind everyone to be kind and considerate, to stay safe, wear masks and gloves, practice social distancing and stay home, except for venturing out for necessities.
