April 11, May 9, events announced by Sidney Historical Society

SIDNEY — The Sidney Historical Society will host Christine Durgin and Mike Guarino, in charge of community relations at Snow Pond Center for the Arts, formerly the New England Music Camp. Their presentation, April 11 at 2 p.m., is titled “What’s happening at the Music Camp.”

Renee Keul, education outreach coordinator at Osher Map Library and Smith Center for Cartographic Education at the University of Southern Maine, will present an interactive look at old maps of Maine as an exploration of changes in Maine from its early days to the present. “Tracing the History of Maine through Maps” is slated for May 9 beginning at 2 p.m.
