MOUNT VERNON — The health officer for the towns of MountVernon, Vienna and Fayette will hold Zoom teleconferences on Saturdays through May 3 to answer the questions of concerned and curious citizens.
Sessions are scheduled from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Daniel K. Onion, M.D., said those who’d like to participate should think about potential questions before the session.
Onion will begin the sessions with a brief introuction to the week’s news then take questions in the “chat box.”
“You are welcome to join a Zoom teleconference by computer video or conference call at the offered phone numbers or the zoom address,” he said.
The best way to join the conference is to hit https://zoom.us/j/681787087 if it’s linked, or paste it into your browser.
Most people do not have to download the Zoom application.
He said those who are participating should try to join five to 10 minutes before the meeting, and to be sure their microphone is on mute.
“Plan to text me your questions under the ‘chat dialogie box’ in the middle of your screen,” he said.
The meeting identification number is 681 787 087.
Although he doesn’t expect technical difficulties, “If everything crashes, quit by 10:20 a.m., and I’ll email you an alternative conference phone set up, or if you are desperate, text me at 207-242-6224.”
