LEWISTON — City buildings will be closed to the public through March 22. Afte rthat, public access will be limited to by appointment only.
The exception is the Solid Waste Facility on River Road.
To assist with social distancing, the city urges everyone conduct business with the city from a distance via online services, phone, email, postal mail, drop box and FAX. If it is absolutely necessary to conduct business in person, additional information on how to schedule an appointment will be coming soon.
The city thanks residents for their understanding amidst current public health concerns. The property tax due date has also been extended to June 1.

To mail by the U.S. Postal Service:: Lewiston City Hall, 27 Pine Street, Lewiston, ME 04240. City Hall’s phone number is 207-513-3000. The drop box is on the Park Street Side of City Hall, and water bills, tax payments, and more can be dropped there.
