Wayne Community Church Easter services, events planned

WAYNE — The Wayne Community Church has planned several services and events leading up to Easter on April 16.
A Palm Sunday service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Sunday, April 9, at the church. The choir will sing and palms will be shared with all.

On Friday, April 14, the sanctuary is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and all are welcome for prayer or meditation.

Easter Sunday services on April 16 include a 7 a.m. sunrise service at the Cook’s lakeside property, 30 Pond Road. The service will include local musicians and a short message celebrating the miracle of Easter.

At 7:30 a.m., there will be a community breakfast at the church, prepared and served by the men of the church, in Fellowship Hall.

The Easter service at 9:30 a.m. will include the choir singing the Hallelujah Chorus, Easter flowers adorning the sanctuary and activities for children.
