Franklin County Democrats will hold public session Feb. 2

FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Democratic Committee will meet from rom 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, at the Mallett School, 16 Middle St. Meetings are open to the public, and all are invited. Numerous candidates running for public office will speak to the group and answer questions. Plans for the March 8 state caucus also will also be discussed.
The session will conclude in time for football fans to watch the Superbowl.
At its January gathering, the committee hosted U.S. Rep. Jared Golden, D-Maine 2nd District, who spent most of an hour answering questions from his constituents and describing his response to the articles of impeachment.
