Two quartets from Maine-ly Harmony’s Barbershop Chorus are ready to brave the weather to seek out your loved one with a rose and a love song on Friday, Feb. 14.
The money raised by the Singing Valentines helps the group continue its work offering free performances for nursing homes, VA patients, church organization and at senior housing, as well as perform fundraisers for nonprofits such as Respite Care and Alzheimer’s. The money also supports the organization’s expenses.
“We all give our time and efforts for the love of singing harmony together!” said Lea Davis, a member.
Those who would like to schedule a Singing Valentine may call Davis at 207-622-1273 or email her at leadavis@roadrunner.com or call Betty Avery at 207-626-0225 or email her at bavery1937@gmail.com to learn more about booking a Singing Valentine and donation costs.
