WAYNE — The Wayne Area Garden Club will begin its winter meeting schedule Thursday, Jan. 23, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Ladd Recreation Center, 26 Gott Road. The meetings — held on the fourth Thursday of the month — are open to the public; those interested in atteding are urged to arrive early for socializing. The group of gardeners meets January through May and again in September and October. Dues are $12 per household per calendar year. Everyone is welcome.
Cindy Townsend and Ron DiGravio of Cranberry Rock Farm, 427 Mt Pisgah Road, Winthrop, will talk about their “human scale” and no-till farming operation at the January meeting.
