LEWISTON – The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society has announced the winners of its Cold Paws, Warm Heart annual raffle.
More than $10,900 worth of tickets were sold in the fundraiser. Winners are:
Sharon Griffith, Harpswell, $500 in home heating assistance and a handmade quilt;
Susan Mancine, Jay, $300 in home heating assistance;\
Kim Bright, Mechanic Falls, $200 in home heating assistance;
Elaine Doucette, Benton, $100 in home heating assistance.
All proceeds from the raffle directly benefit the Humane Society. The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, 55 Strawberry Ave., provides a safe haven for more than 3,500 sick, homeless and abused animals in the greater Androscoggin area every year year. The primary support for the shelter comes from fundraising events and donations from individuals.
