AUBURN — The city of Auburn has found its “perfect” Christmas tree, installed by the Auburn Public Works Department Nov. 20.
The donated tree made its way from its current home on 8th Street to Festival Plaza on Main Street. APW crews moving the tree along 8th Street to South Main to Main Street, and then to its final destination.
Mark and Kate Cornelio donated this year’s tree, and Cote Crane and Rigging of Auburn continued its support and assistance with moving and installing the tree.
The tree will be illuminated on Dec. 6 as part of the Twin Cities Holiday Celebration, officially kicking off the holiday season in beautiful downtown Auburn. It will remain at Festival Plaza throughout the holiday season, including Auburn’s second annual “New Year’s Auburn” event!
