Lewiston Public LIbrary’s Gingerbread Day is Dec. 14
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Public Library 7th annual Gingerbread Day will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14.
The event, in Callahan Hall is free and open to the public. The theme this year is Adventure in Neverlan and will include visits to the Mermaids’ Lagoon, the Lost Boys’ camp, Pixie Hollow, and of course, Captain Hook’s pirate ship, the Jolly Roger. There’s even a rumor that Tinker Bell and Captain Hook will be in attendance, library officials said.
Those who attend can also make their own fairy wand, visit Smee’s Tattoo Parlor, play hook ring toss, and walk the plank. There will also be gingerbread decorating and Wendy’s London bedroom will be available for those who need quiet time and stories.
Costumes are highly encouraged for all ages. There will be a free raffle with lots of prizes, as well as food and hot cocoa.
