POLAND — The Tri-Town Optimist Club’s annual Bike Rodeo is scheduled for May 20, and will be hosted by the Veterans of The Armed Forces motorcycle club for the second year in a row. Children are encouraged to bring their bicycles and helmets, and ride obstacle courses, get safety inspections and take part in a newspaper delivery contest.
The event is open to Regional School Unit 16 pre-kindergarten through sixth-grade students and their parents, who must stay for the event. This year’s event will be from 8 to 11 a.m., Saturday, May 20, at Safe Approach Inc., 206 Mechanic Falls Road. Members of the motorcycle club will provide a full outdoor pancake breakfast for those attending.
