GREENE — Kelli Burnham has been named director of Morse Memorial Library. Burnham was previously director of the Turner Public Library.
Burnham grew up in Bath, attended Morse High School and studied history at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. After living overseas in England for several years, she returned to Maine in 2012 to be closer to family and raise her daughter.
Burnham said she is exchited about joining the community and to continue the work of her predecessor in expanding community awareness of the many services that the library has to offer.
With her arrival, the library returned to normal operating hours — noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Like or follow Morse Librar’ on Facebook for regular updates on events and new books, movies and audiobooks.
