BERLIN, N.H. — An expanded hockey exhibit is on display at the Moffett House Museum & Genealogy Center, marking the 60th anniversary of the 1957 New England Championship for Notre Dame High School as well as the 50th anniversary of the 1967 National Championship for the Berlin Maroons and the New England Championship for Berlin High.
Notre Dame, a private Catholic high school, was open from 1942-1972, and the hockey achievements, which are on display beginning April 1 and through the summer, are part of the recognition being given the school on the 75th anniversary of its opening. This exhibit features championship jackets, photo albums and clippings, championship plaques, player uniforms, and much more.
There is no admission fee to either the museum or to the special exhibit. Donations that help maintain both are accepted.
The Moffett House Museum & Genealogy Center is at 119 High St., and is open noon to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday or by appointment. Call 603-752-4590 for more information or to make an appointment.
