BELGRADE — The annual Harvest Festival will be held in Belgrade Lakes village, and nearby, on Saturday, Oct. 12. Events are free and open to the public.
Events include: Belgrade Regional Health Center flu shot clinic, free to the community, with donations accepted, 9 a.m. to noon, 4 Clement Way (Route 27, about one mile south of the village).
Winterberry Farm, , 8 a.m. to 7 p.m, Route 27, about three miles south of village; cider pressing, watch oxen and horses working, in the late afternoon/evening a community turkery dinner (participants bring a side dish, farm provides turkey), bonfire, fiddle music.
7 Lakes Alliances kids activities, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 137 Main St.
Horse-drawn wagon rides through the village, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., sponsored by Lakepoint Real Estate.
Union Church, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., brats and hot dogs, yard sale, crafts, bake sale, silent auction, more.
Belgrade Lakes Farms Market, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 7 Lakes Alliance.
Pumpkin carving, bounce house, games, hot dogs, chili, popcornt, Friends of Belgrade Public Library coloring contest, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Center of All Seasons, Route 27, just south of the village.
Area businesses, including Days Store, Village Inn and Tavern, Hello Good Pie and Belgrade Lakes Yoga will also have events, some of which are free or by donation.
