Electronic waste collection event is Oct. 19 at Augusta Civic Center

AUGUSTA — Bridging the Gap will hold its annual fall e-Waste Collection fundraiser from 9a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Augusta Civic Center, (north wing parking lot) to support the Community Warming Center.
The center, at 209 Eastern Ave., will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Nov. 1, sponsored by Bridging the Gap, a program of Emmanuel Lutheran Episcopal Church.
Electronics End will be on-site to collect and haul away acceptable electronics, including cell phones, laptops, televisions and computer monitors (both flat screen and tube style), computer towers and printers.
