Freedom of information topic at Norway Memorial Library talk

NORWAY — Brenda Kielty, the Maine attorney general’s public ombudsman, recently spoke at the Norway Memorial Library about government information, her position and the Maine Freedom of Access Act. Kielty discussed what information the public has a right to, and also spoke about James Madison, the fourth president, who was a proponent of openness of government information. She also took questions from the audience.
